I'm a young lawyer living in Denver, CO, USA. I have two great housemates, Meg (works for an outdoor education group) and Drew (manages music acts). Each of us has a dog, and we're all supervised by Penelope, the cat.

I started my own law practice about a year ago, and it's a lot of work. But free time happens to everyone, and I like to spend mine visiting new places, seeing new things, and meeting new people.

If you're coming to Colorado to enjoy the mountains, I'm happy to give tips on where to go, and may ask to tag along. I like to just about anything there is to do outside -- climbing (any type except snow/ice mountaineering), mountain biking, skiing, hiking, camping, fly fishing, snow shoeing, running...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couch-surfed in Paris when I was studying abroad in law school. I'd like to pay it forward for now, and maybe earn a few trips in the future.

Music -- I play guitar poorly, and love listening to music... from da club to, you know, modern-indie-post-folk-revolution, or whatever that's called. I grew up with a mom who went to music school; I like anything!

Law practice -- I help people fight with insurance companies, and I love it.

Dog -- Jane is a border collie/lab mix. She's very sweet, and very smart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like to travel alone -- not really amazing to anyone else, but I suppose it's a bit unique. I went to Spain and Morocco alone, and a couple of others. It helps me clear my thoughts :)
