Hi everyone, I am Dorothea. I am studying landscape design in Vienna at the moment. I love travelling and getting to know new people!
Besides I also love music, sport, nature and art. I am a member of a choir, a figure skater since I can walk, I love reading and watching a good movie.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My big sister introduced me to couch surfing. She had such a great time when she travelled through Scotland that she wanted to be a host too. So we actually hosted a few people at our house. It was a great experience and we had a lot fun.
I really want to meet new people while I am abroad so couch surfing is an amazing opportunity.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite song: Seaside - The Kooks...but I also like listen to Birdy, Bach, Daughter, Einaudi, ...

One of my passions are movies. My absolute favourite one is "Living Stars". I had the best time watching it during a youth film festival with a bunch of friends. "Children of Men", "Gifted" and "Lion" are also on my list of favourites. (Besides, I am really into making movies with friends)

Books...I won't even start, there are too many good ones!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the best time of my life living abroad with a host family during my exchange year. It was amazing to live on a "little farm" in the countryside of Ireland. I had the best family and it was such an incredible time and four years later we are still in contact.

I would probably also say diving in Fiji, having a bath with elephants in Thailand, walking on an active volcano in Bali...(don't want to brag though)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach (figure) skating and skiing. I also can help out with the german language.
I would really like to learn how to play the guitar and I am always trying to learn new cooking skills. So if you have a special recipe maybe you would like to share it? But I am always open for new things! So suprise me with your talents : )
