ABOUT ME

Dorothy is 28 and Rob is 36. We make our home in Seattle with two furry cats named William of Orange and Louis Quatorze.

Dorothy is a jewelry designer and metalsmith and is currently in grad school in the UK for metalwork conservation and restoration. Rob has a PhD in anthropology and has traveled to about 37 countries. We are both huge history buffs.

We're not party animals, though we can appreciate a good, raucous atmosphere! We LOVE food and are constantly trying to broaden our own culinary horizons.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Complete novices, except for the one time a couchsurfer stayed at our place in Japan because our neighbor (the couchsurfer's real host) had to unexpectedly leave town.
