ABOUT ME

Hi there! I am an outgoing, fun-loving individual who thrives on the passion and enthusiasm from others. I'm living and studying for my Master's in Stuttgart, but I have a restless edge to see more of the world! I have an adventurous spirit, and love anything outdoorsy and fun like biking, hiking, and beach-going! I'm also a semi-science geek I’m an aficionado for the arts, I love going to the movies, museums, or better yet, a concert! Music feeds my soul. I'm very easy-going and love to be spontaneous, too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used to host surfers at my place in the US. In Stuttgart, my awesome roommate occasionally host surfers in our apartment. I would also be looking to utilize couchsurfing in my future travels abroad

Interests

Well, travel, obviously! :)
I love seeing new parts of the world and basically doing anything cultural/active. I love my studies/work related to sustainable urban development, which fuels my spirit everyday. I am especially involved with sustainable agriculture and urban farming. I love to volunteer in the community whenever I can. I love languages, art, music, dancing, and trying different types of cuisine. I love sports as well, and am very much into swimming. I love watching baseball (Go Red Sox!)and soccer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books rock my world... I love so many genres, but trend toward non-fiction. Travel memoirs are my favorite (especially Bill Bryson!) Too many favorite movies to count, but 500 Days of Summer, Pride and Prejudice, The Count of Monte Cristo, Big Fish, and the Shawshank Redemption are all at the top.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been lucky enough to have so many enriching experiences in my young life so far... but the most touching and awe-inspiring came from my travels in Costa Rica. I hiked volcanoes, surfed desolate beaches at night, and zip-lined through the jungle. Best experiences ever, but I know there are more to come!
