About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience the best of life.
ABOUT ME
Hey, I'm Matt and I'm and altruistic, fun-loving, laid back, open-minded guy. I'm a 3rd-year student at The University at Buffalo, majoring in Psychology at the moment... but I'm sure that'll change (as it has very frequently thus far in my collegiate career). I've previously taken courses in Computer Networking (which is a part of what I do professionally), Business, General Studies, and Pharmacology. I'd love to have stuck with Pharmacology, but Chemistry and I didn't get along very well, haha. I'll probably end up majoring in Information Systems (or something similar) by the end of it all...
I love running, cycling, walking, kayaking, hiking, and just about anything else you can do outdoors. I don't love politics, opinionated people, or littering (among others). I'm currently employed as a Senior IT Intern at a company that is walking distance from my house. Some of my responsibilities include maintaining our Exchange Server and file server, updating and maintaining our website, general help-desk related tasks, and other nerdy things (haha).
My favorite books are PiHKAL and TiHKAL, and my other interests are associated with the subjects discussed in those books.
I'm here because I love to travel. I've been to Arizona, San Fransisco, Chicago, Kansas, San Antonio, New Orleans, St. Louis, the Adirondacks... but naming places can't possibly capture how great experiencing them was. I hope to visit many new destinations in the future, and thought that joining CouchSurfing would be a great way to help accomplish that goal.
I don't have a couch to give, unfortunately... but when one becomes available it'd be my pleasure to host a fellow traveler.
