Laid back guy from the States traveling over the next year and looking to build authentic relationships and gain unique perspectives from people of all different backgrounds all over the world. Overall I'm pretty easy going and love to have a good bit of fun but can easily switch gears into being more serious and contemplative. I'm keen to head out on adventure or get out and about for some zesty nightlife just as much as am to lay back, relax, and unwind.

I live a pretty active lifestyle most of the time and love a good swim, run or hike but game for really anything active--especially things I haven't tried yet.

I've never really met a type of conversation that I haven't liked. Light-hearted chats, some witty banter, recounting past adventures, good humor (often at my expense), love and relationships, cultural perspectives, human truths/value--you name it, I'm up for it.

Fun fact: I'm an identical twin (for all the doubters, twin telepathy is real--I'll tell him you say hello).

I’m traveling on a yearlong fellowship and am looking to connect with, build authentic relationships, and share in experiences with people all around the world. Nothing bothers me more than traveling somewhere and feeling disconnected from a the culture, people, and lifestyle of where I'm visiting.

Human connection, cultural exchange, and shared experiences are significantly more valuable to me than touristy gimmicks and luxury. I sincerely believe that the best thing we can do to make the world a better place to live in is share our unique experiences and learn from every type of culture that you can. Ones that are opposite your, even more-so.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

Nothing better than jamming out with people to some good music! Music taste is a little bit of everything. I tend to cycle through different phases with different genres. On a bit of a jazz kick right now.

I enjoy most movies but really enjoy psychological thrillers/dramas so pretty much anything Fritz Lang, Hitchcock, Lars VonTrier, also love me a good Terence Malik film. Some other favorites are a Cloud Atlas, Another Earth, Eye Origins, Metropolis

Right now on a nonfiction/biography kick about the history and ethics of wars, but put some Murakami in my hands and I'm yours.

Anything about The States and what it's been like growing up in rural America. Some good stories of my travels abroad thus far. A helpful hand with anything you may need done. A willingness to learn about your culture and life experiences.

I recently just invested in a quality camera so I'd happily give you any pictures we take during our adventures for you to keep. On more than one occasion this has included personal and pet portraits.

Above all I’d love to share anything you might want to know about my culture, desire to learn about/respect your culture, compassion, companionship, and my sincere gratitude.
