About Me

Hi, I’m Douglas, a naturalist, civic ecologist, and sustainability advocate based in Lagos, Nigeria. I’m passionate about nature, biomimicry, and innovative solutions for a more sustainable world. As the founder of the CENTER FOR EARLY GREEN EDUCATION (CEGE), I work to inspire young people to lead in sustainability through education and community initiatives.

I love meeting people from different cultures, exchanging ideas, and learning new perspectives—especially on sustainability, climate action, and urban resilience. If you're curious about Lagos, interested in environmental topics, or just looking for great conversations, I’d love to connect!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I believe in the power of cultural exchange and meaningful connections. As someone passionate about sustainability, nature-based education, and innovation, I see this platform as an opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds, share experiences, and learn from each other.

Hosting travelers allows me to introduce them to the rich culture of Nigeria while also exchanging ideas about sustainability, climate action, and urban resilience. I enjoy connecting with like-minded individuals—whether they’re environmentalists, creatives, or just curious explorers—who are open to conversations about nature, biomimicry, and how we can collectively build a more sustainable future.

For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about offering a place to stay; it’s about fostering meaningful discussions, learning from different perspectives, and expanding a global network of people who care about the planet. If you’re interested in sustainability, innovation, or simply experiencing Lagos through the lens of a civic ecologist, I’d love to connect!
