ABOUT ME

I enjoy new experiences, new adventures and meeting new people. Relativity seems to be the most appropriate word to describe my current views and understandings of the society, culture, art and politics.

Different cultures and lifestyles always aroused my curiosity and I have always had a deep feeling that I need to go and see the world. See it and feel it myself. I have first started travelling with my parents, when I was still a kid. It was mainly going on European 'cultural heritage' trips with a guide and organised group. When I grew up a bit and could chose for myself, I joined Lithuanian hitch-hiking club back in 2003. Still back at school I went for several hitch-hiking trips around Europe with my friends during summer holidays. I Finished school, and went to search for happiness around Europe. First, it was 2 years in the UK, then a year in Barcelona, then it was the Netherlands for a year, London and Florence followed. Now I am back in Vilnius to change the LGBT life here and actively contribute to the community formation, awareness-raising and eduction. I love people, traveling and socialising. Cannot live without either.

Although I am slowly moving towards my 30s:) I still try to make the most of the summers and to live for at least a month in a new country and try to experience the local way of life there as much as I can. It is a bit bigger vision that just a tiny country in Europe, but hopefully, I can make it!!!

Enjoy good cinema, love Bunuel, Ozon, Lynch, John Waters. As for the music, electronic sound always appealed more to me and now I am into the Knife, Little Dragon, Grimes and many more

I love reading. Samuel Beckett and Ocar Wilde are my favorite. I enjoy Bukowski, E. A. Po, F. Kafka etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done - Hitchhiked a catafalque and crossed all Spain with it with two crazy drivers!
