**UPDATE AS OF NOVEMBER 2018**

I just recently quit my corporate job in Washington, DC, gave up my apartment, sold all of my stuff, and am about to move from the east coast to Los Angeles! I'm excited/terrified but ready for a new adventure.

I'm aiming to start the drive around December 15th, with my adventurecat Liko as well. I'd love to couchsurf along the way as I'll be missing Christmas with my family. Some friendly faces and conversations along my journey would be wonderful.

ABOUT ME

I can be talkative and enjoy conversations about anything and everything. I would consider myself an introvert in the sense that I contemplate life a lot, and am continually on my own "pursuit of happiness", but I love being social and being around all kinds of people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and sharing new experiences around the world. To me, travel isn't just about the destination. Some of my favorite memories that I'll carry with me for life, are from couchsurfing experiences. From cooking meals together to hitting the town with my hosts, couchsurfing has had an irreplaceable impact on my life.

Interests

Being outdoors. I used to hike and camp a lot more, especially with my dad and brothers when I lived in Arizona for a while. I particularly like day-long or multi-day hikes. I haven't been as outdoorsy since college but I'm trying to change that! I also love movies, music, reading, writing...I have a lot of interest.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of movies but secretly love chic flicks, as predictable as the plots might be! I also really like science fiction movies. Not so much..."Alien", more like...Solaris, or Sunshine. The Fountain is amazing. But yea I watch it all...horror, comedy, drama, documentaries. As for books, I've just started the Celestine Prophecy, and am finishing the Hunger Games series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Driving the Road to Hana with my two best friends, absolutely beautiful (and extremely scary!!!!) drive
-Watching the sunset over the Arizona desert with my family after a day long hike
-Skydiving in Switzerland
