About Me

Hey there! This is Trung from Vietnam (fun fact: the name means Loyal - Leal in Spanish).

Born and raised in a 100% Vietnamese female family, living in Spain for 16 years, also a year for Erasmus in Budapest and another one in Russia when I was a little creature.

I would describe myself as friendly, talkative, intense, spontaneous. Also I'm independent, flexible, responsible, reliable (my name means Loyal and I plan to honour it).

Oh and for sure I have a good and kind heart. And humble, hell yeah, I'm so humbleeeeeeeeeeeee xD

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get to know new people from all over the world, to learn, get inspired and evolve.

Also to help cool strangers to have a safe space to rest and enjoy their trip, hence increase my good karma ratings (very important!!!), and maybe make a new friend and possible host in the future *wink wink :))

I gotta say as well that this might be a big deal for some people, I'm a very physical person, sometimes unconsciously and spontaneously. I lived in Granada for several years and if you have been there you will know what i talk about. I love long hugs (we need 20s to get the oxytocin kickin in!!!), and I love feeling comfortable with people around me. Obviously, I will try my best to see if you're comfortable or not, and adjust myself accordingly. It's totally fine if you're a non physical person, just please let me know. Communication is the key. I won't kick you out because you don't want to give me a hello hug or smthing, don't worry xD

Another thing, age-gap doesn't matter for me, I will treat you equally, but I understand that for some people, specially younger ones, age matters. "For some it's a No go. For others, a chance to share different views and experiences. Your call!! Growing older is unavoidable. Growing up is a choice." (Love this bit from another CSer -Sirvaliente-)

***IMPORTANT - if you're a female sole traveler, and I can't host you, I could provide you with some info about who NOT to stay with. I'm sick with CS being used like Tinder for some guys (don't get me wrong tho, when there's chemistry between 2 persons, it's a whole other story), so I'm kinda beginning this genius plan to make a Blacklist and share it with you. Yeah.

Interests

I like and appreciate things in life that can't be bought with money - to sing, to watch sunset, to converse, to joke around. I'm passionate about music, movies, culture, art, philosophy, etc. I'm flexitarian - which is like the evil cousin of veganism :)) and I care about being socially en environmentally respectful and in harmony with the surroundings.

I have specially interest about love and relationships as well, I've been through monogamy, open relationships, polyamory. If you wanna talk about this (who doesn't¿¿¿), be my guest (no pun intended xD)!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the red moon rising from the sea. So many sunrises and sunsets. I've seen the orange-coloured landscape from the Sahara dust covering Málaga. I've seen glowing eyes, genuine smiles, happiness, sadness. But a above all, I've seen and experienced unconditional love. What can be more amazing than that?

Last but not least, my ego is proud to be a monthly contributor to MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières, or Médicos Sin Fronteras in Spanish) a non-profit, independent medical humanitarian organisation, providing medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare all over the world.
