I like to go on adventures. I ride bikes, climb rocks, drive boats, and sometimes hang off bridges. I love to cook and say WTF is that vegetable in my CSA box. I'm also a beginner mechanic (I have inadvertently given myself a grease mustache before) and gardener (I find weeding strangely therapeutic except when bugs are killing all my plants). One day I might just run away with the circus.

I will be exploring Guatemala and am looking for ideas, advice, and people to help me along my way.

Interests

I ride my bike everywhere. In 2013, I broke my wrist and being a pedestrian made me feel like I was living in some strange alternate universe where I didn't have my superpower. To celebrate my return, I went on a 360mi bike tour from DC to Pittsburgh, which was super fun. I just added a touring bike to my collection and am working on getting it up to snuff. Heading to Japan for my next bike tour! I also am a beginner racer with a a few cyclocross and road races under my belt.

I also like reading fantasy/sci-fi, playing board games (Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride), watching documentaries. I love going to indie shows, museums, art galleries, theater, and DIY events.
