Hi I'm Marcus!

These are always rather difficult to write! I'm very much a people person, love to travel. I work on big boats which has taken me to some interesting places. Sadly I haven't always had time there to look around or it has only been for a few hours and felt quite rushed. This isnt really what I like doing and would much rather try to experience some some of the places I visit, by meeting locals and couch surfing when possible.

Seeing a place from a locals point of view is fantastic but also getting to know new people in new places is the best!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although a memeber since 2010 I still feel pretty new still to CS, I have surfed once in Norway and loved it. Now whenever I join or leave a ship I will try to stay in that place a few days if it is possible to soak up some of the area.

I am coming to the end of 2 year renovation of a bungalow in Weymouth, UK. I am now available to host when I am home! (Come and visit - it's fun).

Hope to meet new friends in various places, learnt about the area, the culture and the people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Oslo, great experience, I spent 5 days there and completely changed and made my time in Norway, thank you Ruben.

Interessi

I love the sea, wake boarding, sailing, kite surfing, would like to learn to fish. I am outdoors whenever possible.

I have a new found love of DIY, nearing completion of a bungalow renovation which I have done most of the work myself, now available to couch surfers.

Learning about people is a real passion of mine, laughing, meaningful conversations sharing experiences and views is part of what makes life fantastic.

Getting to know new people is a wonderful experience, I am also a self proclaimed good cook (at he basic's) I have a need to make you laugh once I get to know you. I will always buy a dinner and a few rounds! Any requests from the UK will be brought with me (for all those secret Marmite Lovers)
