ABOUT ME

Laid back to the point of being horizontal is the description my parents keep giving me.

But, I think I still manage to achieve my goals. I have spent the last year travelling; learning to be a ski instructor in Canada and teaching science and nature at an American special needs camp. I am a friendly and open person with a genuine interest in forging new friendships where ever I go in this world.

PHILOSOPHY

I’m not sure that I have my own philosophy on life at the moment. However, the following thought by Edward Monkton, is a particular favourite of mine:

“He knows not where he’s going for the ocean will decide – it’s not the destination it’s the glory of the ride.”

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I joined a while ago but this has been my first opportunity, in a while, to take the time to fill in the profile on Couch Surfing. I’m sure that as I learn more about the CS culture I will gain a better understanding of how to fill this section out with a little more detail.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much yet although myself and my partner are looking forward to the oppertunities it may present.

I'm would like to learn more about any of my interests listed above oh and also pottery...I've always wanted to have a go but, never had the oppertunity.
