Overview
About Me
Even though we might only be able to spend some hours in the evening with you during weekdays, we would still be delighted to have (vegan) dinner together. If you wanna prepare it – lovely ;-)
It's a couple's flat and since we've welcomed a baby in Dec 2022 to this world, please be aware of funny sounds at night. If you've read this, please let me know in your request!
(Sorry, but most requests are copy-paste, which I do understand, but this aspect is important.).
We are living in the Western part of town. So if you wanna explore neighbourhoods in the East, I'd recommend surfing on that side.
If you wanna come here, you'll find all the details about 'getting here' in the 'My Home' section above. In the app, you might need to click on 'show more' below 'accepting guests'. If you wanna come, please read that first and suggest when and where to meet.
Still reading? Great, please tell me a pun or a dad joke!

i am an outdoor enthusiast and sensation seeker (some say it's pathologic) born with blood type 0 neg (that's the most social one),
i'm eclectic and like a sponge, very curious and genuinely interested in almost everything.
i live happily with less, i have come to enjoy wandering around till my legs hurt. i usually travel not to go anywhere, but to go, while i tend to forget eating and drinking. at the same time, i am a big fan of both.
the great affair of traveling, to me, often is to move, to see as much as possible, landscapes, streets, people both on and off the beaten track.
i honestly believe that freedom starts where longing becomes stronger than reason, and that the magic happens outside of our (physical) comfort zone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I offer a place to rest to each and everyone, even if/in particular when we don't have much in common.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
seeing the mesmerising starlings' murmuration over brighton's pier, swimming with the current in a crystal-clear alpine river, norkelling in the indian ocean and in the adria, being in the high mountains for weeks, climbing summits facing extreme weather, living in the african bush without electricity and running water for months, climbing the highest dunes barefoot at 4.30 to enjoy the sunrise on top and then jump-run-fly down again, walking through the nightly desert under the most amazing milky way, being in the midst of hundreds of grazing elephants, helping to roof an age-old stone houses in an isolated squatted hamlet in the spanish pyrenees, that's all so magical and beautifully surreal
