About Me

Hello :)

I am a recent college graduate of the University of California Berkeley. I studied Ecology and Ethnic Studies. I am passionate about Mother Earth and taking care of her and all that live here. I practice land care through Indigenous science and knowledge frameworks. This means my culture as a Native person guides the work I do, everything is intentional, with love. I enjoy hiking, gardening, working out, reading, writing, laughing, dancing, listening to, music, and learning. I have many other interests but that list will be very long, just ask me :) I consider myself an easy-going, positive, and silly person who loves to meet new people and have meaningful experiences wherever I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling for some time before I begin my professional career in the work field. If I wasn't traveling I would still enjoy using this platform to host or meet new people, life is to short to not try and meet everyone on the planet! hahaha

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a lover of all music genres but I usually find myself listening to R&B, Rap, Reggaeton, Neo-Soul, Salsa, House, and Jazz.

I enjoy anime and comedy films.

My favorite book right now, Amor en Los Tiempos del Colera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I founded a community research garden for Indigenous students on campus to learn about food and have access to a private green space to plant and harvest culturally significant and relevant foods, medicines, and plants.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share what I know about climate change and environmental crisis in parts of the world I have studied and create a space to discuss and release our emotional and intellectual understandings of what is happening in the world... If you are looking for something lighter, haha, then I always have many stories of all kinds to tell. I love music and have many playlists ready to share!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Mexico
