About Me

CURRENT MISSION

cliché, but I want to live life to the fullest, to experience the world, and to always be learning.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small valley on an island, and feel very close to nature.
I am a very positive, enthusiastic person, and I really enjoy life.
Very inquisitive, I might ask a lot of questions, respectfully of course.
I'm actually still learning a lot about myself as I travel, I like that :)
I am a very friendly and open person
I have a lot of energy, especially as I get excited

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Whenever I have a flat of my own, my door is always open. I've never been an official CS host yet, but I have had the pleasure to welcome Many different unexpected guests into my home. From new friends i had met at an event, to a homeless man sitting against a wall, who just needed a little help to find work, a place to stay, and a warm meal in his tummy.

when I backpacked/hitchiked across Canada, with and without couch surfing. ... so many wonderful people have welcomed me into their homes and cars and were so open and kind. I love meeting new people and really enjoy the unpredicted conversations that arise.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My legitimate Couch surfing experiences have been incredible. I have met such wonderful people, and really appreciate the time we were able to spend together. I think this is a great community of people and look forward to meeting many more brilliant people around the world for years and years to come.

Interests

I love to play!
I am very outgoing and love to be active. I of course enjoy to chill too... but I definitely enjoy a good adventure.
playing music and/or dancing to it - I love to dance
sports! - ball sports, water sports, snow sports - all sorts of sports :)
I like learning. I think it's important to always be learning! I'm very open minded to new opinions, perspectives and ideas. The people you meet when you travel are one of the important parts of the Journey, and
I am very interested in meeting new people - like you! :)

I am really interested in learning about sustainability, earthships, tiny houses and renewable energy.

I am born and raised on an island and absolutely love the ocean. I feel a very close connection to it and love spending time on it, near it, and in it. I grew up sailing and loved it. I am a bit out of practice as it has been a few years... but would love love love to sail again. especially as sailing here has so much beauty to marvel at and appreciate while the warm sea breeze glides you across the bays.

also, the forest! back home I spent much time running through the forest, finding a magical spot to breath and rest, and observe and listen. I come from a west coast Canadian rain forest.. and I love it.
being here in New Zealand is incredible for me due to the vast differences between our flora and fauna. it is gorgeous here, and I am very grateful to be here. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2012, a wonderful puppy -Koda Yangster- came into my life. I knew that he needed my time more than any company. I quit my job. gave away all of my stuff. left the house.

I took Koda, a backpack, a guitar, and I got on the boat with only the plan of heading east. and we did it. I raised my puppy on the road, and Gave him a life of adventure and learning. and Today he is an incredible being. having experienced and been exposed to as much as he has.. he is a well rounded guy that I can trust always.

Koda is 2 now. I brought Koda over to Germany to live with family on an organic farm, because travel life would not be fair for him right now. and if I were to stay and work or study.. anywhere.. then he is alone all day and that's not fair either. he's in good hands with family, lots of love and stimulation and space.

Koda is amazing :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Every person that I have ever encountered along the way, has been a unique experience. I could not predict what I would teach, learn, or share with any individual. but I am very open to all three, and live for this.

with saying that, I can share with you a massage :) because this I know is something everyone enjoys me to share

What I Can Share with Hosts
