My name is Drew. I have been a river guide in California and Idaho for 8 summers. During the rest of the year I am either substitute teaching, house sitting, or traveling. I also do a bit of art on the side (mostly wood-burning and making stickers). I love spending time in the outdoors especially surfing, whitewater kayaking and hiking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and think meeting new cool people is one of the best parts of traveling. I think couch surfing offers a community of people that have a similar mindset. Growing up my parents have always offered their house to other river guides who we have become great friends with.
