About Me
Hi there!
My name is Drew! I'm a Canadian teacher who has worked in China and South Korea. I'm an out going, active but also laid back kind of guy. I studied political science in school and love learning about pretty much everything and anything. In my spare time I practice Brazilian Jujitsu, am a multi instrumentalist but mostly play guitar and bass. I also love outdoors pretty much any board sport from surfing, skating to snowboarding, hiking, camping, exploring and learning about new cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have some background in Europe with my family and am therefore looking to travel through Austria, North Italy, Slovenia and Croatia this summer. I am really easy to get along with and am just looking to meet people and travel as extensively as possible to really immerse myself into the culture-I hope to do some writing about the region in terms of travel and politics so I appreciate anyone who is happy to share their culture.
Other than that good conversations over beers, spirits or a good cup of coffee.
Music, Movies, and Books
I grew up listening to post-hardcore music a lot but I am into a lot of indie folk kind of music. I love all kinds of film and books I love classics but also non-fiction politics, history and philosophy both eastern and western.
