ABOUT ME

Kelsey and I just got married in October. We are currently living in Scotland for six months while Kelsey works as the assistant director for a study abroad program for students from the University of Wisconsin. Back in the states I am a construction worker and Kelsey just graduated with a degree in social studies education and is hoping to find a job as a high school history teacher when we return to the states. We are both very laid back people who enjoy experiencing new places and new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We were introduced to the couchsurfing project by my cousin and her husband after they returned from a two month tour of Europe. We were intrigued by the idea of it and are excited to participate. We look forward to meeting some new people through this experience and hopefully gaining an enlightened perspective on the places we visit. We also look forward to being able to return the favor by hosting a few folks on our couch when we get back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have couchsurfed in Brussels, Paris, Copenhagen, Krakow, Prague, and Berlin. Everyone we have stayed with is great and we hope to surf with more people and host some people once we get back home in USA!

Interests

I am a big fan of anything sports related; playing, watching or talking about sports...I'm happy. Kelsey loves photography and we both enjoy traveling and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie, music and book tastes are all pretty eclectic for the both of us. We enjoy live music, especially our annual excursion to the Dave Matthews Band concert...what a great show!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share tile setting skills, Kelsey can share a pretty solid knowledge of U.S. History (although I can't imagine that too many people would be interested in that!)

We would love to grow in our knowledge of the different languages of the world so please teach us!
