ABOUT ME

Hello,

Basically I have an insatiable wanderlust.

At 20 I had a particularly memorable package holiday that made me subsequently vow to never again inflict such tedium upon myself, or anyone associated with me. I therefore headed off for a month inter-railing, convincing myself that this at last would satisfy the craving for new sights, sounds and smells that a package holiday can only offer the merest suggestion of. It did to a certain degree, but unfortunately getting trains from city to city only scratched the surface of what I was looking for. I have now however discovered the perfect means of travel. I therefore intend to cycle round the world, beginning in July.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I haven't been able to host due to constantly being on the road. I do however intend to remedy this situation if I do ever (God forbid!) become a little more settled.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am reletively new to couchsurfing as being a cyclist I tend to favour Warmshowers (a hosting site for travelling cyclists), as the hosts tend to not be so surprised as I appear clutching 40kg of gear! Interests

Being a chef, I love food and feeding people. Fortunately these attributes tend to endear me to hosts. I like most of the usual things people who travel do. Books, music, art, face painting etc.
