ABOUT ME

I'm a 21 year old college student who has a love for wandering and exploring. I'm studying to become a doctor but want to see more of the world before i get anywhere near becoming this. I grew up moving around different places in Canada so i have a love for traveling and get restless if i don't go somewhere for to long. I like to meet new people and find out how people from different cultures live there lives compared to the cultures i grew up in. I have a love for music, concerts, adventuring, hiking, those sorts of things.

PHILOSOPHY

That life needs to be lived without fear of the unknown, bad things happen and that's a fact of life, but it doesn't define life. Without the negative experiences you cannot truly appreciated the positive ones. Through trying new things and accepting that shit happens you can begin to truly live, as apposed to being too afraid to take a chance on life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by hosting people (haven't surfed yet, but soon!) and helping people in anyway I can. I love to teach people, so anytime I get someone who is curious I'm more than happy to share with people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It began when My brother and I went to sasquatch music festivle this year and gave two people a ride down to it through craigslist. After meeting them and realizing they were really awesome people we hosted them for a couple weeks when we got back from the music festivle, and later one of their friends joined them. That was the first time I've ever had near strangers in my place like that and it was a amazing time. Now I've found out about couch surfing and want to keep doing it!
