ABOUT ME

I'm a PhD student studying the neural mechanisms of how the hormone oxytocin alters social behavior.

I've lived most of my life in Maryland but I spent 5 months living in northern Thailand and love traveling when I'm able.

I live in Atlanta and spend my free time listening to funk, house and disco music, cooking Thai and Mexican food, drinking hoppy beers, and making alcohol infusions.

i don't like enumerating lists of things i've experienced so i'll just say that right now i'm listening to a funky track called Get Over You by the French producer Kartell. The last movie I saw was Shame with Michael Fassbender, and the last tv show I watched was Trailer Park Boys. The last thing I read was a science paper about how the brain remembers faces.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

seeing the sun set over the Andaman sea with some old and new friends at the end of an amazing time in my life and feeling awestruck at how lucky I am and how beautiful the human experience can be
