About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Setting up my new life :)

ABOUT ME

I'm an American guy living in Germany, outgoing and extroverted, active and energetic but I do not need action every second, sometimes I just enjoy having a nice talk with a friend and a glass of wine. I love being around and meeting new people but also enjoy quiet time alone. I don't know if this description really helps :D

PHILOSOPHY

Forget Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted and been hosted ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Germany, Spain, Turkey, Armenia and Georgia and have hosted quite a few people, too.

Interests

I am really into whales and dolphins, they are just fantatic, aren't they? Oh and I really like peanut butter... Like, I REALLY like peanut butter...

(Okay I do have other interests but it's more interesting to talk about that face to face)

  • running
  • backpacking

Music, Movies, and Books

Concerning music I really like rocky stuff (there are many subgenres but in general different kinds of rock music) but I am pretty eclectic, so the range of what I listen to goes from dubstep to pop to Motown classics to swing music and everything in between and beyond.

As for books, I do not really have a certain genre: I like biographies and memoires but also thrillers, dramatic books, funny books, whatever I see and think is interesting.

Same goes for movies, I like biographies/true stories horror, comedies, dramas, fantasy, musicals, superhero movies, etc... I do not have a specific type I watch. Whatever seems interesting. I must say though, that I love documentaries about whales!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to live in Spain with a backpack and no place to stay. I don't know if that was amazing but it was certainly a bit insane. Other than that, just ask me about my time in the Caucasus, there are plenty of stories. :D

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I speak (or sort of speak) a couple of languages at different levels so I think what I could share most is just really having conversations and exchanging experiences in whatever language I speak. I use every chance I get to practice!

And about learning. I love trying new things, so I am up for a lot if not everything. Especially physical challenges.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Georgia, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Armenia, Germany, United States
