I think its a very interesting way of traveling and when I can, I want to go to couch surfing meetings, be a host and be hosted:)I recommend it to everyone I know who's travelling or living in a cool place in an awesome city.

I couchsurfed in Argentina, .. I think thats it. i've hosted a couple of times but always through friends, not yet through this site.
