About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel around the world, improve my english. Mission: Go to one Snooker Main-Tour-Event, maybe Berlin or Sheffield

ABOUT ME

I think I am a friendly, curious man who like to learn all about the world, the cultures and the people. I am a little bit a dreamer; but although I can be serious and philosphical, I like to laugh and I am a helpful man. I like to read and look movies, go to museums or theatre.

I like to hear the birds singing at my breakfast, or even when I go to bed...
I look a lot of ducumentary; I am very intereted in the history of the world, how it all began, astrophysik (Big bang theory), our universe, the milky way, how the homo sapiens capture the world, homo heidelbergensis, homo erectus ect, the roman empire and celts, barbarian ect. Also I like nature film, especially about the deep sea, but all kind of nature film and documentary about ohter countries and cultures, also old cultures.

Also I like the nature, walking and go by bike (but it must be repaired), I want to learn climbing and in the winter I will learn skating.

At this moment I am trying to find out what kind of work I can do to earn my own money; I have found a job and began on 08th June 2011 my work with children as an 1€-Job. I am just a few days there but I like the job and the working with children; I am not educated for this job, but got five years experience working at the "Kinderschutzbund Lehrte" (Lehrte is a small town in the region of hannover, just 20 min with the s-bahn from central station)

I am sorry that most of my sentence start with I (like this), I know it don´t sounds good but at this moment it is the best english I can write. Hope to get better!

PHILOSOPHY

The only way to find a friend
is to BE a friend.

Wir haben nichts zu verlieren,
außer unserer Angst!

Our DNA is 99,9% the same; only 0,1% make the differents between gender, eye-or hair-color and so on.
In my DNA is no place for racism!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new here but my impressions are: It´s great!
It´s a bit like a little boy in front of a sweeties-shop: I had got big eyes that this is so much more than asking for hosters or hosting, it is a real, agile and amazing community so I think I don´t have found all the "sweeties" here...
I like to meet nice people to chat/email with and, if our ways are crossing, we can go for a coffee or so.
And if you like to know something about the town or go around with someone, just ask me cause I would like to show you Hannover.

And I think earlier or later I will let people from all over the world getting on my couch- I hope to met nice people and learn much about the world and other cultures-You are never to old to learn something new (Or in german: Wirst alt wie ne Kuh
und lernst immer noch dazu!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think I have told this in my explaining about me; If I try to do it here again, I am afraid it would ends in a novel.
And there are even things I just don´t know yet, so maybe you can give me some new inspiration? I am a wide-open man and always ready for new "stuff"

MOVIES:
I really like movies all kind of genres; a few examples: Prinzessin Mononoke, Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift,Machete, Mary and Max (woderful animated Film about friendship), 5th Element, Kill Bill (both, but 1 was better), The Blind Samurai, Midnight Meat Train, rec 1 and 2 (spanish horror-film), hostle, From Dusk til down, Willkommen bei den Schichtis (sorry, don´t know it in english), Vincent will Meer (german film, my Translation: Vincent want the sea; it is not easy because it´s a worldplay: mehr=more, Meer=the sea), Resident Evil 1-4, ect. ect.

Musik:
I like folksinger in german, like the very best ever:Funny van Dannen; I hear music of all genres, no preference: Peter Paul& Mary, Metallica (the black album), Element of Crime, Zimtfish, Herr Nilsson, Dr. Dre- the chronic, opera like "die Zauberflöte"/Mozart, "La Traviata" I love the most; also I like classic but often don´t know the name, two discoveries of the last year were Eliza Doolittle and "If a song could get me you"/ Maret Larsson??? not sure... And of course Eva Cassidy, Pink Floyd (The Wall!!!), Hannes Wader, Franz-Joseph Degenhardt, Rio Reiser, The Beatles, The Kings, Seeed (and some songs of Peter Fox) and and and ....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once in Denmark a full-moon eclipse; the eclipse have I oversleep (It was 5 a.m.), but it was the only time I have ever seen that the moon would make big, dark shadows.
And a sun eclipse in Berlin; but Berlin was only in the penumbra.
And of course I have seen in Berlin(West) how the wall came down and a land was reunited!
ALso the end of the apartheid (only from far on television)

I hope so for North- and South-Korea, also for the Isreal/Pälastina-Conflict: It is possible, if the people will believe it! And it is more possible when they go the way without violence:like Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany
