About Me

CURRENT MISSION
To keep wandering until I find a reason not to anymore.

ABOUT ME
Since high school, I've had a hard time settling down; I've moved to a new a city every year in the US just to scratch my traveling itch. Now I've finally saved up and I'm setting out to backpack around the world.

PHILOSOPHY
To me, the only thing that matters in life is being happy without harming others. I think as long as you're doing that, you're doing it right.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In April 2015, I'm starting an adventure around the world. I plan on backpacking around Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia. I'm looking for great people to share my experience with and help me out along the way.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I'm a huge fan of anything that doesn't make any sense at the end. I like all of David Lynch's movies (Mullholland Drive, Lost Highway, Inland Empire), The Cell, Being John Malkovich, Momento... things like that. I'm also a sucker for any movie that leaves you seriously contemplating life and wondering what it all means. I just watched The Man From Earth and loved it!

Music: Mostly 90's metal, but not always. When it's not metal, I'm listening to anything weird and relaxing.

Books: Admittedly, I don't read as much as I'd like to, but the last couple of books I read were The Alchemist, Ishmael, and The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the rings of Saturn with my own eyes (and a telescope). So absolutely incredible!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about anything and everything. I also play a little bit of guitar and really enjoy music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've lived in quite a few places in the western half of the US and can recommend places to visit.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, United States
