ABOUT ME

Having climbed all night under the light of a full moon, I now stand exhilarated atop Mt. Hood watching the sunrise illuminate the valley below. I catch the next hot-air balloon that floats by, and ride it south to Guatemala, where I parachute down, landing in the ruins of Tikal within the lush tropical forest. Spirit guides me across hot coals, and into the joyous state of parenthood; playing, praying, reading, traveling, and opening our home to many nations produced awesome adults.
Empty rooms now calling to be filled again.

I look forward to helping foster opportunities for others with a passion for making the world a better place.

Interests

I enjoy travel, geocaching, improv, adventures of all kinds, meeting new people to expand my perspective of the world. I am in the process of establishing a Playback Theater group here in Salem to promote a sense of community, and an excuse to play!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing to the summit of Mt. Hood all night, and visiting the ruins of Tikal, both under a full moon, have been two of my most amazing experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach English, parallel parking, and other driving skills, knife throwing, change a tire, build a website, read a compass, play chess, tie a square knot, speak Chinese pig Latin, climb a rope, and create espresso drinks.
