I want to meet people who want to meet me. I want to show Shanghai and wherever else I end up living to people who want to see it. I want to explore the world with people who want to explore.

ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing, relaxed guy with a love of travel. I enjoy spending a night out with friends exploring a city's night life as much as I enjoy a night at home with a book or a day out enjoying natural or man-made beauty. I try to balance all of that in my travels.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in human beings and the good we can all do even if our thoughts are so often clouded by mistaken judgement, avarice, and ignorance.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have mostly surfed up to this point, and I expect that will continue into the near future, but I hope to be able to start hosting once I settle down and have a place people can stay. I also enjoy meeting other couchsurfers while traveling (whether staying with them or not) to see their home city through their eyes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was small, going to a midnight picnic with a CS group in Sevilla while traveling with my sister. A few summers ago I jumped in and submerged myself in CS, couchsurfing around China for over a month. It was a fantastic experience that I hope to repeat soon.
