i'm an american literature student currently going to the sorbonne, in paris. i write and make music, read just about anything suggested to me by friends, and i drink far too much coffee. i like to hike in wooded areas, and occasionally cities as well.

PHILOSOPHY

"welcome to this world, have as much fun as you would like while helping others have as much fun as you are having. be kind to those you love, and be kind to those you don't, but for gods sake you gotta be kind" - andrew jackson jihad, personal space invader

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*i love hiking on mountain trails in the northeast, and i've seen some pretty beautiful things doing that.
*just about all of norway. hitched from oslo to bergen, the drive over the mountains. it was like nothing i've ever seen before.
*one of my favorite memories is the time my friends and i drunkenly found a little cave in the woods surrounding my school, bard college, in the northeast united states. inside that cave was an autoharp, completely out of tune, and we spent hours reciting poetry from memory while strumming on that harp.
*pretty much every gay rights parade i've been to has been a beautiful, awe-inspiring experience. lots of love. i'm not gay, but you don't need to be to support the cause and to appreciate how wonderful these parades are. most recently, i participated in the manif in paris. it was freezing, and we walked for hours. absolutely worth it.

*raw cashews are poisonous
*if you took a billiard ball and expanded it to the size of the earth the imperfections would result in mountains higher than everest and crevices deeper than the mariana trench
*duck hunt for NES is a two player game. one person on the gun and another person, using a second controller, can control the ducks.
