I am single/long divorced mother of two adult children who still works full time as ER physician. I love my work and don't plan to retire, just cut back in a few years. I have lived overseas in Montserrat,BWI, England and Saudi Arabia as well as in Alaska,Seattle and Hawaii. Presently have lived in Charleston,SC where I raised my children as a single mom. We took volunteer THS as a family since they were 8 and 11 years old, in Peru, Costa Rica and Kenya and I love to travel! My dream is to join Peace Corps for two years when I turn 70! Would love to meet new people. My home has two bedrooms now empty as my children now live in NYC( my daughter,25,is in PR and my son,22 ,is a junior in college.

Update 6/25/22: due to pandemic disruptions since 2020, both my adult children have moved back home for the time being , which is why I am not accepting guests! Still working full time in ER and glad to see travel returning!

Almost all music, but jazz least favorite. Historical novels, personal survival stories, mysteries, travel books and cookbooks. Movies mainly lighthearted ( think The Second Best Marigold Hotel, The Grand Budapest Hotel, King of Hearts) ,drama, mystery/suspense. Not much into violence or tragedy. ( see enough in ER on daily basis...)
