ABOUT ME

Craig:
A most common man. I do enjoy sharing any abilities, experiences, knowledge, and "wealth" that I have... and find that being truly interested in what others are about is my best qualitiy. Fledgling Master Gardener.

Joyce:
I am a retired banker and am now substitute teaching in our public school system. I am very involved in the Literacy Council in Lincoln teaching ESL.

PHILOSOPHY

My views tend to be anti-establishment because of the self serving directions of corporations and politicians. I feel that I am very reasonable in my moderate efforts to help protect middle class America from miss-information and corruption.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just starting - from a guy I met at Habitat/Humanity this morning. Shared his place with French voluntarism documentarians. 7/09. We have now experienced the many flavors of meeting others... so much more fulfilling than visiting a motel room.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have so much enjoyed meeting people thru this avenue. Hosting some of the most interesting people and visiting many more. I love the chances we have had to return the favor with others.

Any venue that is well done.. from SciFi to Romance. I love music on the computer with Pandora.com in that I can vary my interests so easily and find artists with who I had no knowledge.

The birth of a child... especially my own. Bullfighting in France. Skinny-dipping in Croatia. Snorkeling in Cozumel. And admiring the ant society in my garden.

Loved teaching and found that nothing can be more exciting than finding the "light" turn on in the eyes of those that I share knowledge.
