ABOUT ME

I love to travel. Being out there, away, culture-shocks.I like to observe people from other cultures and to experiment with new types of food. I like the smell of life, trees, seas, mountains, rivers, animals, grass, wind... no rules, just feel free. A bit an 'Into the wild'-feeling, I guess!

On the other hand...
I like to work, to have a carreer, to read the financial section in the news papers.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to travel for amusement but also to broad'n my vision. If you know what's out there, it will be easier to know what you want, to make big decisions and to put things in perspective.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started surfing in Florida, an exceptional experience. When in Belgium every couchsurfer is welcome at my place!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first actual CS-experiences were in Florida, Orlando! Both surfing expecience were as it should be! Extremely pleasant with good contacts with the hosts. A new world is opening!

I'm highly interessed in almost everything starting from fish, tree, bacteria, stars, travel, society, languages, work, stock-exchanges, history, culture, sports, survival, food ...
I go swimming, running and cycling oftenly, but i've been, bodyboarding, climbin, playing volleybal...

Love movies: lately I start to discover the high quality of many french movies. Love the language too. Oftenly I feel like watching a american blockbuster movie but at the end of it I oftenly wonder if it would not have been better to see an 'alternative movie'
As my job requires me to read and 'to computer' a lot I'm not realy a book-reading type of guy.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

skydiving, finishing a phd, travalling through Mexico and China, working in the Andes in Equador, djembé stage in Guinée. The latter thing was really wonderfull. Every day there was music around me for about 3 weeks in a row, the nice people came just for free!
Surfing hollidays with friends in France, Spain and Portugal!
