I live really enthusiastically. I'm really glad to finally go to Asia - it's a long time dream. I'm in the market for experiences that are inherently poetic. Beyond that, my dream day involves drinks and a beach.

We get so little time on this gosh-darn beautiful planet...let's try to spend it with nice folks, doing nice stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I actually mostly do the Airbnb thing, but I am trying to get into couch surfing because it's obviously more human and altruistic.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best experience was in New Orleans, where I was welcomed into a trailer and fed for a week and a half by these traveling carpenters who had been doing relief work. Mostly though, I've just drifted in and out of friends and friends of friends couches while I've traveled. I like housing situations where I can help out and give back.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I slept in the snow on the rim of the grand canyon and woke up just as the sun was rising over the far edge, sat there for hours watching it carve a path across the bottom.

I'm not sure...Singing? Writing? English? I love to garden, but I think I mostly have just lived in friendly climates. No green thumb here.
