I am a university student studying psychology. Eventually I hope to work somewhere within healthcare, but where in the vast field, is yet to be determined. I'm in my senior year and currently studying abroad in Denmark. Some people call me crazy for spending my last semester senior year abroad, but I say....hey, why not?

I grew up in a very small town in Minnesota, then moved to a small city for college. I have been traveling since I was born, first camping around the U.S. which then turned into trips across the ocean. Through each and every one of those amazing travels, I've fallen in love with experiencing new cultures, people, and places.

Every day is an adventure and I'm trying to make the most of each one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on a journey. Every person I have ever met has taught me something. I love meeting new people, learning new things, and hearing about different ideas. I'm currently studying and traveling Europe in an attempt to better understand this crazy world we live in and myself.

Interests

I enjoy being active (yoga/meditation/hiking/zumba/scuba diving...especially anything outdoors), exploring new places, learning about cultures, food/cooking, music of all kinds, art, photography, the elderly, and animals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all types of music, but recently I've been mostly listening to indie/alternative music. My all time favorite movie is Moulin Rouge--it's got the music, the love, the tragedy--what more can you ask for? I can't say I have one favorite book, there are just too many incredible ones to choose from.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Led/organized over 100 women to help raise almost $12,000 for Prevent Child Abuse America in less than 3 months
-Conquered my fear of public speaking (now I even kind of enjoy it)
-Skydiving--ahhh-mazing!
-Still living
