About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I aspire to become a physician-scientist and world traveler.

ABOUT ME

I'm a well traveled MD-PhD student that's currently in graduate school studying new cancer therapies. It's the best day job imaginable! Before moving to Houston I lived in Dallas for two years. I worked there as a software developer and lived with a Hungarian grad student who introduced me to Couch Surfing. I've been on the site for about 9 years now and I have really enjoyed meeting each person that I have hosted.

PHILOSOPHY

I love my life! I am learning to be a doctor, I have an amazing and supportive family, and I am surrounded by friends that support my goals and bring joy to my life. I believe that a love for one's profession, family, friends, and travel are the epitome of a what makes life great.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I got hooked on CS when living in Dallas. I had an awesome roommate from Hungary who was plugged into CS and we hosted about one surfer per month that year. I love hosting and getting to meet interesting people from around the United States and the world. One of the most fun parts of hosting is getting to introduce visitors to the many fun things our city has to offer, as well as to the great food that we have in Houston.

OUR COUCH
I live with my girlfriend in a 2 bed/2 bath apartment. We have two couches, one with a fold out bed, as well as a futon in the guest room. You'll be very comfortable if you choose to stay with us. We have a small 13 lb poodle who lives in the home. He is super sweet and won't bother you for anything more than to pet him, but please be advised there's a pet in the home in case you have allergies!

Interests

Traveling whenever possible, having fun outdoors (running, biking, hiking, swimming), visiting museums, dancing (two step, salsa, swing), reading books, trying new foods, and enjoying time with my family and friends

If you tap on the top of a soda can with your finger before opening it, it'll never fizz over on you. Even if you shake the can aggressively before you tap!
