About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to elevate sarcasm to the leading world religion.

ABOUT ME

I´ve grown up in Leipzig, in my eyes the most charming city in the world (although Rio is almost catching up...), and a nice place to get back after travelling all kinds of places.

People usually:
at first: don´t notice me
then: wonder about me
and finally: either love me or don´t care for me at all.

I like: sarcasm, weird people, playing SuperMarioKart on the SNES, telling people i play the saxophone, taking my bike out for a ride, breakfast, pepper, the colour of the sky at night when everything´s covered with snow

I don´t like: people badly in love with themselves, meat, ...to be continued, since I often forget the things I don´t like

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing is really serious enough to take it too seriously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven´t really gotten a lot to do with CS until recently, when I arrived in Rio and checked out the CS Rio group to get an idea whats going on in town, joining a couple of the trips. Got a friend, though, who has hosted a bunch of couchsurfers and kept telling me nice things about them...

Interests

Won´t be worth the time filling this one in, since my interests change frequently, but amongst them are:
- beginning to study all kinds of languages but quickly leave it due to lack of time
- making plans for the future, get really excited about them and change them again shortly after
- and travelling wherever.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: arthouse (or any movie that´s neither a cheesy romance, nor science fiction, nor a historic epos nor a bromidic comedy...)
Music: if there´s a guitar, a low voice and/or a saxophone in it or if the band is called die ärzte, chances are high that I´ll like it
Books: kinda similar to movies, the protagonist preferrably being an antihero

Countries I’ve Visited

Benin, Chile, China, Croatia, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, Germany, United States
