ABOUT ME

Let's ignore all the usual stuff that people put in this section. If you are on couch surfing it's pretty obvious that you are open minded, like to meet new people, learn about different cultures, like to travel and are outgoing.

I could tell you lost of great and interesting things about me but then what would we talk about when we meet? The people who have met me have written about their experiences of meeting me. Check what they have to say because it's probably far more honest and accurate that anything I would write about myself. If you really want to know something specific feel free to ask.

PHILOSOPHY

You leave a piece of yourself with every person you meet. The piece that you leave should always be the best part of you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty active in the Berlin group arranging and attending events when I am not traveling. I help out where I can and am always up for new challenges.

I have been an Ambassador for CouchSurfing since 2008. Normally you would see a little flag on the top of my profile to indicate this but I have taken a step back from the Ambassador program for a short period of time. I am very concerned about the removal of safety features on the site. Until these issues have been resolved I can't in good conscience remain an Ambassador.

One of the things that I helped get going was the CS Berlin website, the facebook page and the twitter account that we use for keeping people updated about events in the city. Sometimes CS decides to break things on their own site which is something that is beyond my control. When CS is working these are really useful tools for getting info about CS events in the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done a little surfing, a little hosting and a little event organization. I think the community aspect of couchsurfing is what makes it for me. When I moved to Berlin I knew absolutely no one. I think it would have taken me much longer to feel at home in the city if it wasn't for couchsurfing people.

兴趣

So many things that I am interested in. My head is full of useless facts and information on lots of different things. I think it would be easy to say that I am interested in everything. I am a bit of a movie buff

yes, yest and yes. I watch movies, listen to music and read books. I used to run a cinema for a while so I am a bit of a movie buff. Don't ask me what my favourite movie is as it will be a 3 day conversation with no actual result. Music wise I will listen to anything.

Everyday is amazing. Sometimes in a good way and sometimes in a bad way. You should never take the little things for granted
