About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To conquer the known universe, one ridiculous adventure at a time.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 22-year-old recently graduated and definitely unemployed engineer. Consequently right now I have a lot of free time for traveling and otherwise hanging out. I love Jesus, meeting new people, and going on adventures in the ATX.

PHILOSOPHY

My life is based around the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. My hope and desire is to glorify Him by living a full life in which I love others, experience this world that He has created, and share my knowledge of Him.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm happy to meet someone for drinks and show them around Austin. When I get my own place I look forward to hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm brand new to the CS world.

Interests

Weight-lifting, engineering (not just a profession, I actually find it interesting), history, reading (I love the classics: Dickens, Austen, Tolkein, etc.).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I like classics (1940's era), comedies, and the occasional epic action film like Braveheart or Gladiator.
Music: Mostly alternative rock, but really I'm all over the map, from Stevie Wonder, to Damien Rice, to The Cure.
Books: See my interests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not necessarily amazing, but I have skinny-dipped at an elevation of 12,000 feet in a snow-fed lake. SO. COLD.

Teach, Learn, Share

In many ways I'm a walking encyclopedia (ridiculous ability to retain information), so I know a little about a lot of things. In particular history, engineering, math, and science.

I like learning in general, so I can't really think of something in particular I'd like to learn off the top of my head.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Italy, Mexico, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
