ABOUT ME

Well, I am a pretty laid back kind of guy. I am african american. I'm not loud but I'm not boring either. I have no wife or children.My sexual orientation is heterosexual/straight.Ladies, you can rest assured I am a total gentlemean and will respect all women 100% whether you are a guest at my house or I am at yours. I understand this is NOT a dating site and everyone should honor that mindset, just thought I'd toss that out there.

I have never been drunk or high a day in my life, I do no drugs or alchohol.I don't knock people who do, it's just not my thing. I don't smoke. I read a lot, goto movies, keep myself fit. I like good , intelligent conversation. I enjoy plays and museum exhibits,NFL football and learning to like opera a little.

I enjoy people with a sense of humor and I love to travel. I have been to singapore,hong kong, spain, london,canada, brazil, rome and just enjoy seeing the world through the eyes of others, not just the Americanized view.

Hopefully I can meet others and let them know americans are not all bad; We just had the wrong guy for president for the last 8 years. (Don't blame me, I didn't vote for him!) But , of course, Obama is in the White House now , so hopefully our government will get along better with others in the world.

So i'm looking forward to seeing and getting to know some great new people. I can actually call 5 european countries for free, so that should help and if anyone wants to come visit our nations capital, I live 15 -20 minutes from the White House. If u are a nonsmoker, don't play loud music and are generally a sane person, you would be more than welcome.In any event, that's all about me. Take care to everyone and good luck.

I am a very big reader. I enjoy going to movies a great deal, bowling , shooting pool and really good , in depth conversation. I also enjoy traveling to other countries a great deal and enjoy the experience of learning about other cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I actually went down to the Pentagon on 9/11 to volunteer to help triage wounded. I am in the medical field and thought I could help. It was a very tragic day but some say we had it coming. America is not an innocent country in the total scheme of things but when human beings are involved in any endeavor, no matter how noble the intent, in government, major companies, etc., you have the weak component of human nature which often can destroy such noble intent from within. In other words, nobody and no thing , is perfect.( We just like to THINK we are)
