ABOUT ME

Crystal blue waters make me happy. I am totally in love with water, especially the ocean. I love to swim, dive, canoe, surf, sail, the list goes on. I love mountains. I love to ski, hike, sleep under the stars, drink from mountain springs, admire and climb trees. I am a musician. I am a singer, guitarist, bassist, and clarinetist. I love to cook and bake. I love to eat and drink. I love ultimate frisbee. I love fireflies. I love big powerful thunderstorms. I love bicycles. I love travel. I love to stretch and focus on my breathing.

PHILOSOPHY

For me there is only the traveling on the paths that have heart, on any path that may have heart. There I travel, and the only worthwhile challenge for me is to traverse its full length. And there I travel—looking, looking, breathlessly.

My very good friends Bob and Ally have a 7 year old daughter named Jane. She was choking on a cherry pit on the beach last year and I helped her expel it out of her trachea with some abdominal thrusts (Heimlich). It all happened in the span of 20 seconds.
