I always try to stay in motion and rework a new, less-refined self. I do this by learning new things to love and doing what I already love such as small world experiences, eating tapas, taking the stairs, yoga, spontaneity, not wearing shoes, gazing at stars, questioning life, suffering from too much optimism, nearly all sports, hammocks in houses and people with an excess of energy.
I am solar-powered, high energy, and feel mother nature calling me always.
I feel most fulfilled when I am discovering and uniting new people. I believe there are few things in life as important as relationships. I try to approach all of my encounters with positivity and lightheartedness.
I grew up just west of Chicago. After graduating college, I returned to some familiar, some unfamiliar parts of the world to explore and discover. I am working at my dream job at CDC. I will work as hard as I can to fulfill my dreams of protecting adolescents' rights to access health care and to grow up and thrive, rather than meekly survive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have so thoroughly enjoyed couch surfing that I cannot wait to have a flat to host as many travelers, backpackers, vagabonds, and wanderers as I can.
