I'm an environmental biologist who surveys farms and forests for wind farm development. I'm a folk and jazz fan and wannabe folk guitarist. Friends, good books, old movies, history podcasts, and training for triathlons fills up the rest of my time. Oh and beer, I like beer too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking through rice fields and thick jungle to stay with a Khmu hill tribe in northern Laos. Partying like a local at night with shaman ceremonies, pig sacrifices and rice whiskey drinking games.
