About Me

Hi! I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 and decided to settle down. I am positive, good listeners, open-minded, and eager to explore new horizons.

I really like traveling (surprise!) to exotic warm countries with a backpack and roaming around, the last one being Camino del Norte. If you have been to tropical paradises yourself - I will love to hear your stories! And of course, surfing would be the best case scenario here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, it is one of the best social inventions. Really, like you can have a safe and free place to crash, meet some great people, chat, get inside info on what's up in the city, or even hang out. What else do you need?

Interests

Ahh, it depends on the season. Cycling, swimming, climbing, snowboarding, hiking, opera, theater or just chatting with a beer. I learned that after some time own city also becomes among one of the places you like to explore as while you show it to guests, you find a lot of things you have never noticed) So let's see how it goes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - predominantly punk. The last few good movies enjoyed most were Her and Father. From old ones - Route 60, Blade Runner, Meet Joe Black, Dawns Here are Quiet. As for books, Flowers for Algernon, Crime and Punishment as well as Dostoyevsky as a whole, 1984, The Brave New World, Illusions by Richard Bach, Think Fast and Slow.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Let's call it unusual. Hitchhiking across whole Turkey alone for a month without a single hostel or bus, and volunteering in a kids language camp in China.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, my life story is something I can offer in exchange for yours. Though our lives face pretty much the same borders, a look from new angles will never do any harm.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good chat, some language practice, or even a souvenir from my little country if I happen to still have some left ;) I would be totally happy if you would recommend some music to listen to or where to try local cuisine/drinks! If, on the other hand, you are visiting me - you could teach an easy-to-cook dish. Oh, oh - and I collect coins! So if you have a couple of nickles from your country, it will also be a blast!
