ABOUT ME

oi the people! I am a humble traveller and sponge that will suck up almost every kind of experience at the moment. My plan is to travel from México to Argentina on the panaméricana. of course on a motorbike together with my good friend larsito. i just started this journey in mid august and am in Mérida at the moment (septembre '09). aprendar español, because without it i probably wouldn't get too far, and because i like this language very much!

PHILOSOPHY

i try to live my life to the fullest. i don't allways succede, but i also belive that the path is the goal.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

communities are a strange thing to me... either you are part of it or not. it is a form of segregation that can lead to unpleasant forms of behaviour. for the sake of the graet opportunities that CS is providing for travellers and people from arround the world, i hope that this does not happen here... therefore i am not a verified member, but just someone who sees the potential in this kind of networking.

in general i would say life, but that sounds a bit too flat. even to me. :-)
i love the asthetics and the power of thoughts! (thx Ricardo for this formulation!) but i also love the burning feeling in my arms, when i climb up a wall. i am interested in all the varieties of peoples lives and cultures. i also enjoy a good book, good music a cold drink and a evening in nice company.

all kinds of enriching books, nietzsche, kant, fichte, d.adams, zizek, sokrates, cant think of all the good books there are at the moment / all kinds of interesting movies, mainly not from hollywood / all kinds of interesting music, from mozart to jimmi hendrix to muddy waters to björk to kode9 to eagles of deathmetal to king tubby, etc. but in the last two years or so dubstep caught my ear, because all of it is in there...
