ABOUT ME
I'm new to couchsurfing (August 2009) and was made aware of this awesome page by a friend of mine when visiting him in Hamburg last month. I stayed with my first hosts in Vancouver in 2009 and must say that this is a truely great invention since you can stay with nice people who make you feel welcome in their very own home. Great experience. I traveled North America and are looking forward to hosting people in Germany. Come to Leipzig, everybody, it's right in between Berlin and Dresden, and definitely worth a few nights on my couch!
PHILOSOPHY
You only get this one chance. Make the best of it, do it in style and never burn a bridge.

Interessen
Football, literature, photography, contemporary art, philosophy. But not too much of each at a time. Keeping a level head and looking at the bright side of things. Meeting people and enjoying a cool drink. Treating people, animals and the environment in a fair way.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
I like watching movies but I try to avoid the square black screan. Any type of music with a guitar and a lot of steam in it gets me off my rocker. Gimme a good book and I read it, preferably novels and light philosophy.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
Nepal. The people there, the landscape, food, atmosphere. Everything was so placid and serene that I think everyone should go there at least once in life.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
The day I feel complacency is day I wanna drop it. Never give in to self-indulgence and idle contentedness. You're a cornflake in a cereal factory, don't get soaked up in stale milk! Or whatever the omniscient oracle said when asked "who am I? why am I here? what can I know? what shall I do?"
