I think I make a great host and a fun couch surfer. I'm into live, independent music; impromptu poker games; good wine and beer (stouts, belgian, etc); snorkeling in beautiful tropical locales; house parties with friends; open-minded people with dark senses of humor; wit; literature; indie films; and trashy reality TV. Ha.

PHILOSOPHY

Moderate liberal democrat leaning. Not an atheist, but not a religious nut. Live and let live, etc.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Been doing this couchsurfin' thang for years now! Tend to host more than surf due to a lack of vacation time/funds, but I'm looking to do more surfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've got an extra bedroom you can stay in. I do have two cats so if you're allergic it might not work out. I live in a townhouse about 40 minutes south of DC. You could Uber/Lyft to the Springfield metro to get into DC (about a 5 mile Uber ride). If you have a car you're even better off!

I visited Italy when I was 16. At the time, the most amazing thing was that I could drink the amazing chianti, ha. That, and the gelato was the bees knees.
