Overview
About Me
I am 19 years old from The Netherlands and I am now studying Technical Physics. I lived in Papua New Guinea for 8 years and moved back to The Netherlands to finish high school. I took a gap year last year and visited Central and South America, and eastern Europe. I am an active person and love playing sports, mainly tennis and football. For the rest I enjoy socializing, meeting new people, having an occasional night out or staying in and cooking. I’m fully vaccinated.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing due to a conversation I had with someone I met in Bogota. He told me how he was driving from the United States to Argentina by bike and how he used this app as an alternative to hostels. It seems like the perfect way to visit places and experience them more authentically than through a hostel, and to be able to meet locals/long term residents who can give the best insights on the history/culture and best things to do.
