Up until a few years ago I was on a mission to work all the dead end jobs I could find. I don't think I hit all of them, but I found enough to satisfy my collection of name tags, hairnets, and t-shirts. I had finished college as a historian and was all but unemployable.
I continued to find odd labor jobs until I found a gig as a bouncer and then spent three years working my way up the ladder at a dive bar in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
After tending bar weekend nights, a friend got me a day job teaching high schoolers outdoorsy things like how to build nature trails, ecology, and self-reliance.
That company eventually took me out of Pittsburgh and across the U.S.A. I had done some visiting of friends and family outside of the east coast but definitely did not consider myself someone who enjoys traveling and adventure.
It wasn't until my job sent me to Oregon and I made a friend who changed my prospective on what kind of life I could be leading.
Before and after we worked together we stayed with couch surfing hosts. I have met some amazing people through this site and everyone has been very warm and welcoming.

As for my personality, I am a very relaxed person. I try to think before I speak, and consider other people's feelings and comfort. I'm always down for a good time often at the expense of sleep.

I'm always bouncing from one coast to the other. I love to be on the open road, and meeting new people is one of the greatest joys for me.

Some of my interests are very new, like cave exploration and climbing.
Others I have have been honing for a few years like amateur mechanics, welding, and other tinkering hobbies.
Other things that I have enjoyed for a long time tend to be more general. Such as the outdoors, camping, art, music, literature, day dreaming, and fun.

I have some fairly eclectic music taste. I don't love everything, but I haven't found a type of music I don't enjoy. Live music is my favorite though.
Same pretty much goes for books and Movies.
