Overview
About Me
I have a little house on the edge of The Beverly Hills of Himeji. My place doesn't quite belong: it's older, a little beat up, and in the traditional style. Cozy, yeah, that's the way to put it!
3 minutes from the bus line, 15 minutes to Himeji Castle and the train station. Mt. Shosha's 15 minutes by bus & cablecar ... also walkable.
As for me, I'm a pretty low-key guy, get along with most people. English teacher at a nearby high school -- love my job. I'm a free thinker, former idealist, closet realist. I like to have a good time as much as read a good book.
Happy just to give you a place to stay for the night if that's what you're looking for, or depending on my schedule, I can show you around a bit, point you toward a good restaurant, go out for drinks ... Play it by ear, eh?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to get to know some traveling people. I'm away from home, it's true, but that's not quite the same. I miss that free lifestyle. Had a lot of people help me out before when I was on the move, and I'd like to kinda return the favor.
