About Me

I believe it is important to treat all people equal regardless of race, sex, age, disability, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristic. If you think that it is okay to bully and/or discriminate against any of the above, it might not be the best idea to book a stay with me. Kindness is important.

Food, travel, adventure. What else?

28 or so countries down. China and Guatemala most recently.

Father of 2 boys part of the time. Took them to Mexico City last year and smashed lots of tacos!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I LOVE getting out of the main stream and into the local experience. It started in 2004 (or so) when I rented an apartment in Rome instead of staying in a hotel. I loved experiencing and trying to integrate into what real life might be like there.

I also have lots of extra space in my house and would love to meet people from around the world.

I'm a firm believer that the more we experience (people, places, things) the better we are, overall, as a global community.
